Most incidents that require the provision of first aid come as a shock, and although they can never be predicted, some environments are more likely to see an injury than others. At Community Education Skills 4 Life, in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, we run an activity and outdoor first aid training course. It is designed for those who have a responsibility to provide first aid in outdoor and activity-based environments.
Activity First Aid (RQF)
The QA level 2 award in Activity First Aid (RQF) is an Ofqual-regulated and nationally recognised qualification. To achieve the qualification, you must complete the two-day training course. Successful candidates will gain the knowledge and skills needed to treat a range of conditions that could occur during any form of activity, from life-threatening illnesses to minor injuries. Upon completion of the course, a certificate, which is valid for three years, is provided to verify successful training.
