About This Course

More than 90% of school students would like to learn about first aid in school, and developing these crucial skills at an early stage can only make the classroom a safer place. At Community Education Skills 4 Life, in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, we know that first aid for children is more than just teaching them how to stick a plaster on. During our first aid training course for schools, pupils are taught the importance of staying calm in an emergency and how and when to use the life-saving skills they acquire.

The course acts as a basic introduction to first aid, giving students grounding in managing an incident and the most commonly needed first aid skills. It is ideal for young people, aged 9 years old and above, in schools and youth organisations. The children do not need any prior experience or knowledge of first aid to benefit from the course. Get in touch with our training centre today to book a course.
